Cineflix Rights, the UK’s largest independent TV content distributor, has closed a number of deals with Asian networks ahead of ATF 2017.

Leading the sales is a 165 hour package deal with Chinese VOD provider Shanghai BiliBili Technology. Programming in the package includes 1000 Days for the Planet (Seasons 1-3, 22×60’, Glacialis Productions), The Detectives Club: New Orleans (6×60’, Cineflix Productions), Food Factory (Seasons 1,2 & 4, 78×30’, Cineflix Productions), A Big LEGO® Christmas and The Secret World of LEGO® (both 1×60’, Waddell Media), The Day Hitler Died and The Day Kennedy Died (both 1×60’, Finestripe Productions), and Buy It, Fix It, Sell It (Seasons 1&2, 20×30’, Frantic Films).

Cineflix Rights’ wildlife and natural history content continues to perform well with Asian buyers with TVB Hong Kong acquiring Mountains and Life (6×60’, Green Bay Media) and World’s Weirdest Animal Faces (3×60’, Wildbear Entertainment); while Mediacorp Singapore has bought World’s Best Beaches (6×60’, Wildbear Entertainment) and Rogue Earth (2×60’, Pixcom).

Chris Bonney, CEO Rights, Cineflix Media said: “Asia is a growing market for Cineflix Rights, with strong demand for our history and wildlife content. We’ll be launching a number of new shows from these genres at ATF 2017 and look forward to further sales success in the region. ”

All the deals were closed by Chris Bluett, VP Sales, Asia Pacific and Benelux, who is attending ATF.
