Cineflix International Media (CIM) is the Dublin based subsidiary of Cineflix Media. Founded in 2003, CIM is responsible for licensing and reporting on sales of CMI’s titles as well as titles acquired from third party producers (royalty reports).

The Role

Cineflix Media and Cineflix International Media is looking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Based in our Dublin office on a hybrid schedule, this is a full-time position.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Receivable cycle for our Dublin office. He / She will also be responsible for handling all data entry related to the Accounts Receivable function and liaising with customers on any queries related to same.

Key duties:

  • Timely and accurate recording of Accounts Receivable transactions and dealing with any customer queries.
  • Reviewing Sales contracts for financial accuracy and ensuring that the information is record correctly in the system.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a cordial and mutually beneficial relations with Customers and our Sales team, note: most communication is by email as our customers are generally not in Ireland.
  • Accurately forecasting cashflow inflows on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Assistance with various other month end financial reporting, for example bank reconciliations.
  • Other Adhoc reporting that may arise.

Requirements of Role

  • Minimum five years’ experience of working in an Accounts Receivable role.
  • The person must have a sound background in sales ledger including sales order processing, issuing invoices, collections and allocation of cash to customer accounts in a timely manner.
  • Experience of working in a multi-currency environment essential.
  • Preparation of weekly cash inflow report for Treasury on a weekly basis.
  • Assisting with Monthly cashflow reporting for the Irish entity.
  • Experience of dealing with invoice queries from customers.
  • Experience of preparing bank reconciliations.
  • Experience of dealing with strict reporting deadlines.
  • Experience of using an accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
  • Knowledge of reviewing legal contracts would be advantageous but not essential.

As full training will be provided for this role, no previous media industry experience is required.

  • Excellent Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel for example pivot tables and vlookups.
  • Flexible and responsive to changes that may arise as the role develops.
  • Willing to work co-operatively with others to achieve common objective.
  • IATI qualification or equivalent would be beneficial
