The Role

Cineflix Rights is recruiting for a remote Director Sales, North America. This role will deliver sales target for allocated territories USA, English-speaking Canada and Pan-regional SVOD platforms in conjunction with the EVP Americas & APAC

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sell Cineflix and 3rdParty programming within the allocated territories for all media formats to the agreed sales target.
  • Achieve the best deal possible taking into account all variables, incl: rights sold, windowing, materials cost and length of license.
  • Maintain existing and build new client relationships through attendance at markets (MIP, RealScreen, NATPE etc) and territory visits.
  • Maintain a record of all sales related activities on CRM.
  • Project against potential, new titles using Cinecast, our forecast database.
  • Prepare forecasts and reforecasts for sales activity on a regular basis – to include quantative estimates of sales results as well as commentary on progress against target, factors that could impact eventual outcome and identify any areas that may support sales effort in allocated territories.
  • Manage travel & expenses budget.
  • Attend weekly sales meeting and provide feedback on progress on new sales.
  • Attend fortnightly Deliveries Meeting, representing the sales team and feed back any important issues.
  • Attend weekly Development and Green Light Meeting and work collaboratively with the Production team in managing the funding of new projects in the territory.
  • Pre-sell new titles to assist with deficit funding.
  • Have an awareness of rights, emerging plaforms and windowing possibilities within allocated territories.
