Media Accessibility Technician (Toronto)

The Role
Cineflix Media is currently looking to full the role of Media Accessibility Technician. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Post Production (SVP), The Media Accessibility Technician will be responsible for closed captioning a variety of programmes. The ideal candidate will have previous experience closed captioning, and a strong knowledge of existing accessible media standards (AODA/CRTC and FCC). Experience working with captioning software (CPC, MacCaption, EZTitles) is required. This is a full time, permanent position based in Toronto.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong grasp of the English Language (reading/writing/verbal) is required. Fluency in French (reading/writing/verbal) is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word
- Ability to properly manage time
- Experience in writing and recording Described Video
- Previous experience with video file encoding
