‘Anna Pigeon’ Drama Lands At USA Network & Kimora Lee Simmons Returns To E! As Comcast’s Versant Unveils First Content Slate

Versant, the Comcast-owned company that houses former NBCUniversal cable networks including E!, USA Network and Syfy, has unveiled its first programming slate since being split off.
A new drama for USA Network and a new reality show from Kimora Lee Simmons lead the way for the slate, which is the first under President of Entertainment Val Boreland. There will be 16 new series across E!, USA Network, Syfy, and Oxygen True Crime.
“Our audiences are among the most devoted in the industry, and their passion fuels everything we do,” said Val Boreland, President of Entertainment for Versant. “By uniting the power of our iconic brands with a commitment to bold, original storytelling, we’re deepening our connectionwith viewers in meaningful ways. We’re proud to unveil this exciting new programming slate as we move forward under our new name.”
USA Network, which will air The Rainmaker in the summer, has ordered Anna Pigeon from Cineflix Studios and December Films.
Morwyn Brebner is showrunner and Lea Thompson directs, with the pair exec producing alongside Todd Berger, Julie Di Cresce, Brett Burlock, Peter Emerson, Sonia Hosko and Gordon Gilbertson.
Elsewhere, it will launch a WWE food format – Everything On The Menu with Braun Strowman – in the fall. It will see Braun Strowman as he eats his way across America, while on the road for WWE, ordering everything on every menu and trying to down every last bite.
It comes from WWE Studios and BrightNorth Studios. Paul Levesque, Lee Fitting, Marc Pomarico and Ben Houser executive produce for WWE Studios. Matthew J. Braley, Kevin Duncan, Morgan Hertzan, Pat Dimon, Shawn Efran, and Azadeh De Leon executive produce for BrightNorth Studios.
For E!, Kimora Lee Simmons is back. She previously starred in Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane, which premiered on the Style Network and ran on E!, for four seasons between 2007 and 2011.
In Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane, the single mom of five, who runs the Baby Phat brand, will be dealing with the whims of her model daughters, cheering at her sons’ championship games and celebrating her own major milestones.
It is produced by Hartbeat – the previous show was produced by Left/Right Productions – and Lee Simmons will exec produce alongside Kevin Hart, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Meghan Hoffman, Bryan Smiley and Danielle Medina. It will premiere in December 2025.
The network has also ordered Plastic Surgery Rewind, which will be hosted by former RuPaul’s Drag Race star Michelle Visage with plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow and body image expert Dr. Spirit, PhD. The series, which premieres this summer, follows nine celebrities and social influencers through a “transformative journey of self-discovery” as they decide whether to reverse previous plastic surgeries and return to a more natural look.
It is produced by Fulwell Entertainment with Dubrow exec producing alongside Matt Cox, Rebecca Hertz, Emma Conway, Charlie van Vleet and Ben Turner.
The network, which will air the Critics Choice Awards in January, also has a number of specials in its Dirty Rotten Scandals strand including exposes on America’s Next Top Model, The Dr. Phil Show and The Price is Right.
On Syfy, Revival, based on the comic book series, will launch on June 12. The zombie drama stars Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen.
As usual, Oxygen True Crime will have the biggest volume of originals.
The network has ordered The Death Investigator with Barbara Butcher, The Killer Among Us, The Death Row Informant, The Silent Serial Killer: Gretzler, Killer Grannies and The Boston Stranglers.
The Death Investigator with Barbara Butcher, which premieres in the fall is told through the eyes of Barbara Butcher, one of the most seasoned and respected Death Investigators to work in New York.
It is produced by Wolf Entertainment, Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz’s Alfred Street Industries and Universal Television Alternative Studio
The Killer Among Us (w/t), which premieres in spring 2026, is hosted by Alan Cumming and looks at murders that rock tight-knit communities. It is produced by Lusid Media.
The Death Row Informant (w/t), which premieres in the fall, explores the case of a killer who confided in an inmate, revealing more than 20 unsolved murders. This inmate-turned-informant has now handed over 300 pages of detailed notes about the killer’s unsolved murders to Ken Mains, an ex-FBI investigator and cold case detective.
It is produced by Wolf Entertainment, Fireside Pictures, Universal Television Alternative Studio, and Vanity Fair Studios.
The Silent Serial Killer: Gretzler (w/t), which premieres in the fall, explores the story of unknown serial killer Doug Gretzler, who murdered 17 people. It is produced by Glass Entertainment.
Killer Grannies, which premieres in the fall, chronicles the most shocking and unpredictable cases involving a killer no one would suspect: Grandma. It is produced by Jarrett Creative.
Finally, The Boston Stranglers, which premieres in winter 2026, is based on the Boston Strangler’s lost confession tapes. It is produced by This is Just a Test.
