Cineflix Rights acquires new programming from Finestripe Productions and Waddell Media

Cineflix Rights, one of the UK’s largest independent TV content distributors, has signed deals with award-winning UK producers Finestripe Productions and Waddell Media for two new shows which will be launched at MIPTV. Both shows will be premiered to buyers at the distributor’s annual content showcase event next week in London.

Inside Dior (2×60’, Finestripe Productions for Channel 4) gives viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the billion-dollar luxury empire that spans clothes, handbags, makeup and perfume. Marking the fashion house’s 70th anniversary, this two-part documentary reveals its illustrious past and present, meeting well-heeled clients and celebrities and introducing the geniuses behind every lavish detail, including Dior’s first-ever female creative director. The first of the two parts just aired on More4 and outperformed the channel’s slot average by 25%.

A Big LEGO Christmas (1×60’, Waddell Media for Channel 4) offers access to the global superbrand as it prepares to open the world’s biggest LEGO store, in London. Highlights include Duncan, Britain’s only certified LEGO professional, who is attempting to build a record-breaking LEGO model of Tower Bridge and new designer Justin as his first LEGO set – based on The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine – hits the shelves. A Big LEGO Christmas won its time slot with a consolidated audience of 2.9m/12% share – an increase of 75% on the slot average. The Secret World of LEGO and Inside LEGO at Christmas were both huge hits for Channel 4 and worldwide.
