National Geographic’s SharkFest is set to return with over 25 hours of programming on July 5.

Sharks Up Close with Bertie Gregory will kick off the special lineup on July 5. The title will see Gregory head to South Africa to dive into the shallows without ta cage and come face to face with great white sharks. It will stream on Disney+ and Hulu on July 6.

Also on July 5, Investigation Shark Attack will debut and deliver an in-depth look inside the minds of sharks. A forensic investigation at the Shark Headquarters by a panel of scientists will analyze key theories and dissect each shark attack to determine what leads the predators to strike.

The lineup also includes the six-part series Super Shark Highway, in which two elite shark research teams infiltrate two of Australia’s busiest shark migration routes to unlock the mysteries of the predators. One team will follow white sharks along Australia’s southern shark highway, while the other will track the sharks along the tropical north. The first episode will debut July 5, followed by nightly airings.

Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story, bowing on July 10, is also included in this year’s SharkFest in celebration of the film’s 50th anniversary. Alongside Steven Spielberg, the documentary will chart the journey from Peter Benchley’s best-selling novel to one of the most iconic films ever made. It will feature rare archival footage and interviews with Hollywood directors, top shark scientists and conservationists.

Sharks of the North, coming July 12, will see science educator and dive instructor Alanna Canaran embark on a mission to unravel the enigma surrounding great white sharks on Canada’s Atlantic coast, where they have been increasingly sighted. Canadian and her team will dive into the history of human-shark relationships along the Nova Scotian coast.

Debuting July 13, Shark Quest: Hunt for the Apex Predator, will feature survivors recounting their encounters with massive sharks. Some emerged miraculously unscathed, while others were less fortunate.

All titles will begin streaming on July 6 on Disney+ and Hulu.
