As President of Cineflix Productions, J.C. leads innovative content strategies and the expansion of the group’s community of talented creatives.  As Commercial Director, he’s part of the Cineflix Media executive team, driving new business opportunities across the company.

Previously, J.C. was President and General Manager of Glass Entertainment Group, increasing its content portfolio to 12 new networks and platforms, while producing more than 160 individual episodes during his tenure. Prior to Glass, he was an agent at ICM Partners—selling over 30 projects across cable TV. As a Director of Development at National Geographic, J.C. developed 100 plus hours of content and, at Shine International, he sold formats while managing third-party producer relationships. J.C. is also admitted to practice law in New York.

Kim oversees the company’s unscripted production slate, with a focus on lifestyle programming. She also develops factual content for networks in North America. Kim’s executive producer credits include Rock Solid Builds, Girl Scout Cookie Championship, Property Brothers, Property Brothers: Buying & Selling, Flipping Virgins, Hours to Kill Season 2, Bizarre Murders, and Food Factory.

Kim first joined the company in 2005 as Writer and Narrator for the first season of Wedding SOS, and continued on as Series Producer for three more seasons. She was also Series Producer on Dinner Party Wars, Birth Days, and Kim’s Rude Awakenings. Previous to Cineflix, Kim was at CBC and Discovery Channel where she produced, directed, and wrote for a variety of shows including CBC’s All-Star Comedy Homecoming Special with Don Ferguson and Roger Abbott of Royal Canadian Air Farce.

Sherri runs all administrative aspects of Cineflix’s production slate. She is the primary broadcaster contact for production management and is responsible for supporting our production partners. Sherri liaises with internal corporate and production department heads and oversees budgeting and network milestone deliverables. In addition, Sherri is involved in funding and agency applications.

Previous to Cineflix, Sherri worked in a number of freelance production positions, bringing her production administration talents to projects produced by ABC’s Movies of the Week, MTV, Paramount, and Viacom.

A skilled negotiator with extensive in-house and law firm experience, Julie works closely with senior management and the company’s global business and legal affairs teams on both scripted and unscripted projects. Julie structures, drafts, and negotiates a wide variety of agreements for the company and its productions, including broadcast licenses and co-production agreements, first-look deals, along with talent agreements. 

Julie’s previous roles include Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs for First Look Media, Head of Business & Legal Affairs for Astronauts Wanted, and Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs at Discovery Communications, where she spent 16 years managing programming deals and related transactions for Discovery’s networks, including Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and ID, as well as Discovery’s Original Content Group.

Brian oversees all aspects of post production for Cineflix Media, including the company’s world-class integrated offline and online editing facilities. He heads up post for Cineflix’s slate of content and manages the team responsible for the distribution of our programming deliverables to networks and streamers globally.

Brian was previously Head of Production & Post Production at the creative agency JAXX and prior to that he was the VP, Studio Operations and Head of Post Production at VICE Media.

As VP, Development, Kristin is responsible for unscripted development for the US market across all content platforms. She has more than a decade of development, production, and casting experience across a wide range of genres including factual series, reality formats, documentaries and specials, and studio talk shows.

Previously, Kristin was VP of Development at All3Media-owned Optomen Productions, where she was responsible for developing docuseries and original formats for US broadcast and cable networks including PBS, Lifetime, and Food Network. Prior to Optomen, she served as VP of Development for Part2 Pictures where she oversaw the development team and a slate of titles such as MSNBC’s docu-series Story of Cool with LL Cool J and investigative three-part series Breaking Hate; Scene of the Crime with Tony Harris for Investigation Discovery; and CNN’s News and Documentary Emmy® Award-nominated Chasing Life with Dr. Sanjay Gupta. She has also held various development positions at networks including truTV where she oversaw casting and talent for the network, and developed Swamp Hunters, Safe Crackers, and Cash Dome. While at Discovery Channel, Kristin recast Dual Survival and oversaw casting and research for the network’s internal development. She then was the Director of Development for National Geographic Channel, where she developed multiple shows including the six-part series Original Sin: Sex, event special Brain Surgery Live, and The Boonies.

Peter oversees Business and Legal Affairs for Cineflix’s Toronto office. He negotiates pre-sale licenses and key talent agreements, advises on the full spectrum of production activities, and provides counsel to Cineflix’s distribution division.

Prior to joining the company, Peter worked for the CBC where he negotiated commissioning and co-production agreements with international production partners. He also advised Nelvana and Corus on the exploitation potential of key creative properties, managed the business affairs group for CineNova Productions, and spent several years with Gowling WLG in its corporate commercial group.

Fergal oversees all productions that are based in the New York office. He liaises with broadcasters, manages the development budget, and is responsible for US tax credits. Fergal continues to oversee the hit series American Pickers and was the production executive for Cineflix on The Deed Seasons 1 and 2, The Filthy Rich Guide, and Be Your Own Boss.

Prior to joining the company in 2011, Fergal worked extensively as a line producer, field producer, production manager, assistant director, and segment producer for networks including CBS, HBO, History, and Discovery Channel.

Since joining the company in 2007, Alex has served as Executive Producer at Cineflix Productions on numerous shows, including critically-acclaimed Mayday: Air Disaster—now in its 22nd season, Rocky Mountain Railroad, and Sinking Cities. His other Executive Producer credits include Angry Planet, Nowhere to Hide Seasons 1 and 2, The Detectives Club: New Orleans, Motives & Murders: Cracking the Case Seasons 3–5, Into the Unknown, and Mayday: Air Disaster Seasons 12–22. He was also the Series Producer on Mayday: Air Disaster Seasons 5–11.  

Prior to Cineflix, Alex worked at various broadcasters, including CBC, CTV, and Discovery Channel. His work has been recognized with numerous awards and nominations, including a 2018 Canadian Screen Award for Best Factual Series for Mayday: Air Disaster. 

Michael has served as Executive Producer of History’s flagship series, American Pickers, since 2015. He joined the Cineflix team in 2011 as Series Producer and was promoted to Co-Executive Producer the following year.

Prior to Cineflix, Michael ran the hit show, Room Raiders on MTV for eight years and has worked on shows for Bravo, TLC, HBO, HGTV, and The Sundance Channel.

An acclaimed showrunner, director and TV executive, David currently serves as Executive Producer on Patrick Ayree’s Wild World and a new series currently in production for Investigation Discovery.

Prior to Cineflix, David’s showrunner and executive producer credits include the globally produced Coyote Peterson: Brave the Wild, Jackson Wildlife Film Festival award-winning Ocean Warriors from Executive Producers Robert Redford and the late Paul Allen, and long-running Ice Cold Gold for Animal Planet. Previously, he held executive positions at History, Moxie Pictures, Wilderness Productions, ITVS, and Vice President Al Gore’s Current TV. As a creative director, he has also won numerous ProMax Awards for his brand and series creative direction.

Jeff oversees the development and production of scripted projects based on true stories. Recently he produced the inspiring movie Left for Dead: The Ashley Reeves Story and the multi-award nominated I Was Lorena Bobbitt. His previous film, Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey won two Canadian Screen Awards. He also served as Executive Producer and Series Producer on several groundbreaking true crime shows, including Homicide: Hours to Kill, Secrets of the Morgue, Surviving Evil, and American Lawmen.  

Prior to joining Cineflix in 2012, Jeff worked as a freelance director and producer on series for various networks including History, National Geographic, CBC, and Discovery.
