American psychologist Lauren Elliot lands a dream job as a performance coach at the Parisian-based House of Lavigne, a coveted fashion brand run by famed designer Virgil St-James. With the help of Lauren’s calming techniques, Virgil’s Paris Fashion Week show is a success, but the applause of the audience is interrupted by screams when Charlotte, Lauren’s best friend, is discovered behind the catwalk standing over the dead body of Lavigne’s business manager. As Lauren uses her expert skills to unravel the case with the help of André Duvreuil, an alluring but guarded French detective, the two discover a counterfeit handbag ring and a growing list of fashionable suspects.
The movie stars Brooke D’Orsay (A Not So Royal Christmas, A Fabled Holiday) as Lauren Elliott and Gilles Marini (Days of Our Lives, Switched at Birth) as Detective André Duvreuil. Felipe Rodriguez directs from a script written by Tom McCurrie and Stephanie Sourapas.
