Cineflix Rights sells content to Asian broadcasters ahead of ATF 2018
Cineflix Rights, the UK’s largest independent TV content distributor, has signed multiple content deals with Asian broadcasters ahead of Asia TV Forum 2018.
A+E Networks Asia has acquired Ted Bundy: Serial Monster (4×60’, Hoff Productions for Reelz US) for its Crime + Investigation network. The series reveals Ted Bundy’s disturbing roots and deranged obsessions, psychological trickery, and murderous masterminding.
Hong Kong public broadastcaster RTHK has acquired Rediscovering T. rex (1×60’, Talesmith Productions/Cineflix Productions for BBC, CBC, France TV), a myth-busting, cutting edge science documentary that exposes the inaccuracies and misreprentations surrounding the most infamous predator to have ever walked the earth, Tyrannosaurus Rex.
NHK (Japan) has bought My Family and the Galapagos (2×60’, Seadog/Motion Content Group for Channel 4 UK), in which biologist and conservationist Monty Halls travels with his family to the Galapagos Islands to investigate the wonders that both define and threaten one of the most bio-diverse places in the world.
Chris Bluett, VP, Sales Asia Pacific and Benelux, Cineflix Rights, who brokered the deals and is attending ATF said: “I’m delighted to be attending ATF and look forward to showcasing Cineflix Rights’ slate of new content to our buyers at the market.”
