MEDIA RELEASE: Cineflix Rights acquires Cream Productions’ History of the Sitcom from CNN Original Series

Cineflix Rights continues its longstanding relationship with CNN and Cream Productions with the acquisition of the eight-part CNN Original Series, History of the Sitcom, which will be rolled out to international buyers at MIPCOM 2022.

History of the Sitcom (8×60’, Cream Productions for CNN Original Series, US) reunites audiences with the sitcom friends, families, and co-workers they’ve loved watching over the years, while also introducing them to comedies that are sure to be a binge-watch for viewers who have yet to discover them. The series features scores of original interviews with sitcom icons including Norman Lear, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Lisa Kudrow, Jason Alexander, Kelsey Grammer, Kim Fields, Tim Allen, Carl Reiner, Dick Van Dyke, George Lopez, Mel Brooks, Isabella Gomez, Ted Danson, Joey Soloway, Jimmie Walker, Judd Apatow, Dan Levy, Zooey Deschanel, Chuck Lorre, Mara Brock Akil, Helen Hunt, and many more.
