MEDIA RELEASE: Cineflix Rights announces multiple factual deals at MIPCOM 2023

Cineflix Rights has closed multiple deals with international broadcasters and streaming platforms for new shows and returning seasons launching as part of  its MIPCOM 2023 factual slate.

Richard Hammond’s Workshop (Season 3, 8×60’, Chimp Productions and Krempelwood for Discovery UK and Eire) which follows the daredevil TV presenter and legendary car buff as he launches his own vehicle restoration business, has been acquired by NENT for Denmark and Sweden, Warner Bros. Discovery for its platforms across Benelux, Italy, Iberia, Turkey, German speaking territories, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and BBC for Poland.

Hitler’s Engineers: Building the Third Reich (6×60’, Like A Shot Entertainment for A+E, UK), which reveals the sinister role planners, designers, architects, and builders had in shaping the war,  has sold to History (Iberia), RTL (Germany), CBC (Canada), Tanweer (Greece), AMC Networks International Central and Northern Europe (AMCNI CNE) for its Spektrum channel (Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic), and BBC (Poland).

Escapist travel show Holiday Homes in the Sun (Raise the Roof Productions and Motion Content Group for Channel 5, UK) has been bought by TV2 Norway, Nine Network (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand) TV2 Hungary, Hola TV (Latin America and US), Buenviaje (Spain), Canal+ Poland, AMCNI CNE for Spektrum Home (Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia), and Home Channel (South Africa).

TVE (Spain) has bought all four seasons of My Floating Home (31×60’, Windfall Films for A+E Networks/FYI (US), Corus (Canada), and Channel 4 (UK) which charts the exploits of people who aspire to leave landlocked suburbia behind to live in the ultimate waterside dream property.

Patrick Aryee’s Wild World (4×60’, Cineflix Productions for Sky, UK), which reveals the complex web of interactions that connect the tiniest of creatures to the mightiest carnivores on the planet, has been acquired by Odisea Iberia, Ushuaia TV France, BBC Asia, TVO (Canada) and Knowledge Network (Canada).

One of the latest additions to Cineflix Rights’ market-leading true crime slate, Cult Justice (8×60’, Law&Crime Productions in association with True Crime Network for True Crime Network, US), exploring the magnetic power of criminal cult leaders and the dramatic investigations that finally brought them to justice, has been bought by Hulu for its US viewers.
