CINEFLIX APPOINTS MICHAEL KRONISH AS PRESIDENT, PRODUCTIONS

MONTREAL — Leading international content producer and distributor Cineflix today announced the appointment of Michael Kronish as President, Productions, a leadership role supporting the company’s expanding production activities across North America and the UK.

As part of Cineflix’s senior leadership team, and working closely with Chief Commercial Officer, Content, Piers Vellacott, Kronish will oversee the company’s production operations, with a focus on developing and delivering premium content for Canadian and U.S. broadcasters, streamers, and platforms.

Kronish assumes the role from his current position as President of C3 Media, which has a longstanding partnership with the Cineflix Media group. Kronish and C3 Media founder Pablo Salzman will both continue to serve as executive producers on key C3 projects in development and in production, with Cineflix producing some of the shows. 

Pablo Salzman will continue to lead the C3 Media label and oversee its development slate, while working closely with Cineflix to co-develop and co-produce new projects for Canadian, U.S., and international markets.

Michael Kronish is one of Canada’s leading television executives. Prior to joining C3 Media, he was Senior Vice President, Unscripted and Documentary at Muse Entertainment, and his previous roles include Executive Vice President, VICE Media, where he launched and led VICE’s Canadian production studio, overseeing content for multiple platforms, including VICELAND, the company’s 24/7 television network.
