CINEFLIX APPOINTS STEPHANIE FAST AS HEAD OF PRODUCTION

TORONTO —Leading international content producer and distributor Cineflix today announced the appointment of Stephanie Fast as Head of Production. Fast steps into the role following Sherri Rufh’s decision to retire from her position as Cineflix’s EVP, Production & Administration at the end of the year.

Working closely with Michael Kronish, President of Productions, Fast will provide strategic leadership across the company’s development, production, post-production, and operational functions. Collaborating internally across the creative, finance, legal, and technology teams, Fast will serve as a key broadcaster-facing executive for Cineflix’s growing slate. She will also help drive the expansion of Cineflix’s AI Production Unit and Digital Originals initiatives for the company’s YouTube and FAST channels.

Fast joins Cineflix from Frantic Films, where she most recently served as President, having previously held the role of VP, Production & Post-Production. With more than 20 years in the Canadian television industry, she has led production, post-production, and operational teams while overseeing a slate spanning unscripted, factual, and documentary programming that includes The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down, Still Standing, Baroness Von Sketch Show, Backyard Builds, Top Chef Canada, and the Juno Awards. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Insight Productions, CBC Sports, and YTV.
