Cineflix Media and Duncan Gray Announce Twenty Six 03 Joint Venture

May 03, 2017

Cineflix Media Inc. and Duncan Gray today announced a joint venture partnership in production company Twenty Six 03 Entertainment. Gray is a veteran producer of hit global entertainment and reality formats and this agreement is the latest example of Cineflix’s strategic partnerships with leading creatives worldwide.

Co-owned by Cineflix and Gray’s existing company Twenty Six 03 Content, the joint venture creates high-value returnable formats and series for the global market. Alongside its successful music and comedy format – Bring The Noise – currently in production for a second season in Italy, with other European deals pending, the joint venture has multiple projects set up with UK broadcasters and is developing shows for US networks.

Gray has more than 25 years’ experience in both the UK and US including senior creative exec roles at ABC, ITV, and Sky. He is responsible for developing and greenlighting hit formats including: The Big Breakfast (Channel 4), Survivor (CBS), Britain’s Got Talent (ITV), Saturday Night Takeaway (ITV), Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (ABC), Got To Dance (Sky), and A League of Their Own (Sky). Gray also served as Executive Producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC) between 2003-2006.

Glen Salzman, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Cineflix Media said: “We’re thrilled to be in business with Duncan. Cineflix provides financing, commercial support, as well as Cineflix Rights’ distribution expertise so independent producers can have the creative freedom to focus on making great programs and growing their business. We will continue to build on this model with further joint ventures, first looks, housekeeping, and overall deals as we diversify and grow our group of content companies.”

Duncan Gray, Founder of Twenty Six 03 Content said: “Creating this joint venture is an exciting new chapter for Twenty Six 03. Cineflix is providing us with the right business backing to keep pursuing the projects we believe in with the flexibility and independence to strike the best deals for each project to ensure their success.”

The Twenty Six 03 Entertainment joint venture follows on Cineflix Media’s successful 2016 financing with leading US banks which provides significant funding for acquisitions and content partnerships. Cineflix Media’s joint venture with Tony Wood’s Buccaneer Media produces Marcella, the hit Scandinavian noir crime series, for ITV and Netflix. Today’s announcement follows other recently-announced creative partnerships with independent producers including Seadog Productions, George Moll, and André Barro.
