Cineflix Media Ramps Up Development in North America with the Appointment of Bernard Periatambee
International content creator, producer, and distributor Cineflix Media Inc. announced the hire of award-winning executive Bernard Periatambee as VP, Development.
Periatambee’s new role at Cineflix will focus on developing original unscripted content for network and platform partners in North America.
Based in the Toronto office and working alongside the company’s established development and production teams in both Toronto and New York, Periatambee will report to Dave Hamilton, EVP, Development, Cineflix Productions. He starts January 15.

Periatambee brings to Cineflix over 15 years of international experience across a wide range of genres including long-running lifestyle and factual series, reality formats, studio talk shows, and art films. Previously, Periatambee served as VP of Factual Development at Frantic Films, where he oversaw a diverse slate for Canadian and US networks. Prior to that, Periatambee held key development roles in the UK at Crackit Productions and Twofour Broadcast, and served as Head of Programmes at Leopard Films. His extensive development and production credits include The Stats of Life, Backyard Builds, Cash in the Attic, Buy It, Fix It, Sell It, and the Canadian Screen Award-winning series Still Standing.
