Cineflix Rights announces Richard Life as Head of Acquisitions

Cineflix Rights, the UK’s largest independent TV content distributor has announced the expansion of its acquisitions team appointing industry veteran Richard Life to the newly-created position, Head of Acquisitions.

Life will spearhead acquisitions for Cineflix Rights, as the company executes its strategy of increasing content streams through producer partnerships, development and first-look deals, and co-productions. Based in London, Life will oversee the global acquisitions team which comprises of Kate Laffey, VP, Acquisitions; Catherine McCormick, Manager, Acquisitions; and Giuliana Benvenuto, Manager, Acquisitions, North America. Life will report to Chris Bonney, CEO Rights, Cineflix Media.

To further bolster its acquisitions team, the company is also recruiting for a VP, Acquisitions, North America.

Life, one of the UK’s most experienced TV distribution executives, previously held the roles of Head of Acquisitions and Co-productions at ITV Studios Global Entertainment and Head of Programming at Channel 4 International.
