MEDIA RELEASE: Cineflix Rights and Scott Brothers Entertainment launch Don’t Hate Your House with the Property Brothers

October 18, 2023

In partnership with Scott Brothers Entertainment, Cineflix Rights has added the latest Property Brothers show to its globally successful franchise, and is launching the new series at MIPCOM 2023.

Don’t Hate Your House with the Property Brothers (Scott Brothers Entertainment for HGTV, US and Canada) inspires viewers to make the most of the home they’re already in—by transforming dysfunctional interiors into a home they can finally love.

Tackling some of their biggest design challenges to date, Jonathan and Drew Scott wield their renovation superpowers to find a way to fix problematic homes for frustrated families who want to love their house. The stakes are high when moving isn’t an option and the families are desperate for help.

Richard Life, SVP, Acquisitions and Co-productions, Cineflix Rights said: “Working together with Jonathan and Drew over many years Cineflix Rights has helped build the Property Brothers into a hugely successful global franchise which consistently delivers loyal audiences and high returns for our buyers. We are thrilled to be continuing our distribution partnership with Scott Brothers Entertainment on  Don’t Hate Your House with the Property Brothers and to be launching this exciting new series to the international market at MIPCOM 2023.”

Josie Crimi, EVP, Development and Production, Scott Brothers Entertainment said: “Cineflix Rights has been the perfect partner for Scott Brothers Entertainment, bringing the Property Brothers series and spinoffs to our amazing fans worldwide. We’re delighted to be working together again with them on Don’t Hate Your House with the Property Brothers.”

Cineflix Rights’ Property Brothers franchise encompasses more than 400 hours across seven individual brands including Property Brothers: Forever Home, Property Brothers: Buying + Selling, and Brother vs Brother. The shows have sold to broadcasters and streaming platforms in more than 160 countries and territories around the world.
