MEDIA RELEASE: Cineflix Rights closes multiple CEE deals pre-NATPE Budapest 2023

Cineflix Rights has closed a raft of international deals for factual content with Central and Eastern European broadcasters in advance of NATPE Budapest.

LNK Lithuania has signed deals for a number of Cineflix Rights’ blue-chip history documentaries and series including Battle of Alcatraz (2×60’, Hoff Productions for Reelz, US), The Far Traveller (1×60’, Pro Films and Mac TV for BBC Alba, NRK, Norway, and RUV, Iceland), Secrets of the Nazi U-Boat Bases (1×60’, Galaxie Presse for RMC Découverte, France), WWII By Drone (6×60’, Like A Shot Productions for UKTV, Smithsonian US), The Day Hitler Died (1×60’, Finestripe Productions for ITV, UK), The Day Kennedy Died (1×60’, Finestripe Productions for ITV, UK), and The Day We Walked on the Moon (1×60’, Finestripe Productions for ITV, UK).

FTV Prima (Czech Republic) has acquired a range of series and documentaries including Close Encounters Down Under (6×60’, Perpetual Entertainment for 7Mate, Australia, TVNZ, New Zealand, and AETN, UK, Ireland, Poland, and Romania), Hitler’s American Battleground (2×60’, Cineflix Productions and First Story Productions for National Geographic International and Science Channel, US), Impossible Builds (Seasons 1&2, 16×60’, Windfall Films for Channel 4, UK), Hitler’s Engineers: Building The Third Reich (6×60’, Like A Shot Entertainment for Yesterday, UKTV), and Designing Dreams (12×60’, Imagination Television for Prime TV, New Zealand).

Canal+ has bought Holiday Homes in the Sun (Season 1, 20×60’, Raise the Roof Productions and Motion Content Group for Channel 5, UK) for their NC+ (Domo+) channel in Poland. Canal+ has also acquired The Mysterious Mr Lagerfeld (1×90’, Finestripe Productions for BBC Two, UK) for their streaming platform covering the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

AMCNI CNE has acquired Beyond the Farm: Men at Work (4×60’, Renegade Pictures and Motion Content Group for Channel 5, UK), Holiday Homes in the Sun (Seasons 1 & 2, 60×60’), Hitler’s Engineers: Building The Third Reich (6×60’, Like A Shot Entertainment for Yesterday, UKTV), and Coast Guard: Mission Critical (10×60’, RumLime Productions in association with Gulp Pictures, History US), for their Spektrum Home and Spektrum Channels across Hungary, Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
