MEDIA RELEASE: Cineflix Rights closes multiple scripted sales to Nordic platforms

Cineflix Rights has closed multiple international sales—amounting to more than 100 hours of titles from its scripted slate — to Nordic platforms at MIPCOM 2022.

SVT Sweden, YLE Finland, TV2 Denmark, NRK Norway, and Acorn TV in the Nordics have bought season two of Whitstable Pearl (6×45’, Buccaneer Media for AMC’s Acorn TV), the cozy crime series starring Kerry Godliman.

Viaplay Nordics has acquired seasons one and two (20×45’, Yoav Gross productions for Kan 11) of the multi-award-winning Israeli police corruption thriller Manayek. Viaplay Nordics has also bought Rebecca (8×60’, ELEPHANT for TF1), the fast-paced crime drama set in Paris.

HBO Max in the Nordics has bought gripping Icelandic political drama The Minister (8×60’, Sagafilm for RUV Iceland, DR Denmark, NRK Norway, SVT Sweden, and YLE Finland) starring Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.

Cineflix Rights has also sold all four seasons of supernatural cult hit Wynonna Earp (49×60’, IDW Entertainment, Cineflix Studios, and SEVEN24 Films for Syfy, US and CTV Sci-Fi, Canada) to C More across the Nordics, and season four of long-running crime procedural series Coroner (12×60’, Muse Entertainment, Cineflix Studios, and Back Alley Films for CBC, Canada, the CW Network, US, Sky Witness, UK, and NBCUniversal International Networks) to Sýn hf Iceland.
