Media Release: Tehran wins best Drama Series at 2021 International Emmy® Awards

Tehran, the critically acclaimed Israeli espionage drama series distributed by Cineflix Rights and streaming on Apple TV+, has cemented its global success by winning the award for Drama Series at this year’s International Emmy® Awards.

Tehran tells the thrilling story of Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan (Niv Sultan), who goes deep undercover on a dangerous mission in the city of her birth, placing her and everyone around her in dire jeopardy. The series is one of the highest rated dramas on Israeli network Kan 11 and has been a global hit on Apple TV+, hailed by critics as “gripping”, “heart stopping”, and a “captivating spy thriller”.

Season Two of the Apple Original series is currently in production with multi-Academy Award-nominee (Hillbilly Elegy, The Wife) and Emmy® Award-winner (Damages, Serving in Silence) Glenn Close joining series stars Niv Sultan, Shaun Toub, and Shervin Alenabi.
