Cineflix Rights strikes deal with Yap Films ahead of MIPCOM 2017

Cineflix Rights, the UK’s largest independent TV content distributor, has closed a deal with Canadian producer Yap Films for two new programs, ahead of MIPCOM 2017.

Made by Destruction (seasons 1&2, 26×30’, Discovery Canada) explores how everyday objects are resurrected from landfill and transformed by technology to be repurposed into something entirely new. From sour milk turning into a cocktail dress, windmills morphing into boats, and human remains getting a second life as sparkling diamonds, the series also shows how discarded skateboards, abandoned cars, and broken down office equipment are salvaged and shredded, melted, and chopped – then recreated into items that are useful, beautiful, and valuable.

Ice Bridge (1×60’, Smithsonian Channel, CBC and France Télévisions) has exclusive access to an international team of archaeologists, geneticists, and geologists aiming to rewrite the history books through pushing back the date of humankind’s arrival in the New World by approximately 6,000 years.
